Karl Schueler, President

With 19 years of experience in the construction industry, Karl started KNS Contracting LLC in 2009. During the past eleven years he has concentrated his efforts in tenant fit-out. From the beginning of the company, he has developed key relationships with many building owners, tenants, management companies and architectural firms. KNS Contracting LLC has an office in Burtonsville, Maryland, accessible to Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia.As owner of KNS Contracting LLC, Karl is involved in every aspect of the business including bidding, pre-construction meetings, progress meetings and on-site inspections throughout the various phases of construction. Through his experience in the construction industry, Karl acknowledges that one of the most critical components of construction is the punch list. For this reason, KNS Contracting LLC employs in-house trades to complete these miscellaneous items.

Troy Miller, Director of Construction, Estimating Department

Troy began his experience in the construction industry while serving in the U.S. Army for 21 years. After his retirement he joined the KNS Team as the Director of Construction in 2009. Troy is responsible for overseeing the daily operation and planning of all construction projects in the estimating department.

Daniel Condatore, Project Manager, Estimating Department

Daniel joined KNS Contracting, LLC in June 2015 as a project superintendent. Daniel will oversee the project from start to finish. He’s proficient in pre-planning of subcontractors, materials, look ahead scheduling, daily reports to the project manager throughout the project, and cost control. Strong technical, communication and problem solving skills. He is dedicated to completing the project on time, within budget, and follow all OSHA and Company safety guidelines.

Vic Schueler, Project Manager

With KNS since 2013, Vic is a Project Management Professional with experience in project planning, implementation and execution. He has the proven ability to support multiple projects with medium to high complexity, with a consistent track record of on-time and on-quality delivery. As a part of KNS Contracting’s team of results-driven attitudes and strong client-centric skills.

Evan Gehman, Project Manager

Evan has been working for KNS Contracting LLC for the past 4 years.  He has been in the commercial construction industry for over 14 years Evan is a Project Manager for KNS Contracting LLC’s maintenance/improvement division and coordinates all jobs from proposal, scheduling, and running the job through to the final inspection. With Evan’s experience, KNS Contracting LLC can take care of all maintenance needs from the smallest to the largest capitol project.

Kelly Sorensen, Office Manager

Kelly has been with KNS since 2015 as the Office Manager. She comes with us with a Bachelor Degree from Salisbury University in Interdisciplinary Studies. She handles all of our Account Receivables and Account Payables. She is experienced in Quickbooks, Sage Contractor and Microsoft programs. She is organized and efficient in all of her day to day tasks.
